S2Ep6: How to Give and Live Better From Home with Stephen G. Post

by Adam & Naresh | The Work From Home Show

Expressing gratitude is crucial to our own happiness. What many people fail to figure out, however, is how to express that gratitude in a useful way. Things like gratitude, love, compassion, and hope can help your health in ways that medicine can’t.

Adam and Naresh are joined by Stephen G Post, Professor of Preventive Medicine and the Founding Director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics at Stony Brook University, to discuss how our health and life can be impacted positively by these simple things, among others.

Stephen is also the Founder and Director of the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love. He has promoted the idea of “give and live better” across the globe. Funding over 50 scientific studies at the nation’s top universities as well as conducting his own research, Stephen is considered the “go to” guy with his uplifting message that when we contribute to the lives of others, give meaningfully, and live by the Golden Rule, we are generally happier, healthier, resilient, creative, hopeful, and successful. His book The Moral Challenge of Alzheimer Disease: Ethical Issues from Diagnosis to Dying was designated a “medical classic of the century” by the British Medical Journal. He is the author of the new book Religion and Medicine: A History of the Encounter Between Humanity’s Two Greatest Institutions.
